Connect Medit Link

The Medit Link integration is live and pulls new cases into your universal inbox automatically — including scan files and order information.

Requirements

• A Medit Link account for your lab (partner access that practices use to send you cases)
• Pontiq permission to manage connections (owner or admin role)
• On the Free plan one connection is possible (e.g. Medit Link or Demo). Portal scanners from other manufacturers require Starter. Paid plans include unlimited connections.

Set up the connection

1. Open Settings → Connections and choose Medit Link.
2. Sign in with your lab account in the Medit login window and grant Pontiq access.
3. Choose from which date existing cases should be imported.
4. Save — done.

From now on Pontiq checks for new cases automatically. New orders usually appear in the inbox within minutes, including all STL/PLY files.

What is imported

• Case metadata: practice, patient (as stored in Medit Link), work type, notes
• Scan files in original quality
• Updates: if the practice uploads files later, Pontiq appends them to the existing case

Troubleshooting

• No new cases? Check the status under Connections. If the sign-in expired, simply reconnect.
• Case missing? Use manual import (see Other scanners & manual import) — it always works, independent of any cloud.
