Open cases in Exocad

After pairing you keep working in the web app. The agent stays in the tray.

Plan requirement

Open in Exocad and the Desktop Agent are included from the Starter plan. On Free you will see an upgrade prompt.

Flow

1. Open an order you are allowed to see.
2. Click Open in Exocad.
3. Pontiq checks visibility and plan feature, then pushes the case to your online devices.
4. The agent downloads scans, writes the .dentalProject file and launches DentalDB (Windows).

On macOS/Linux the case folder opens — Exocad itself runs only on Windows.

No agent online?

The web app shows a prompt with a link to Settings → Desktop Agent.

Visibility

Technicians only see assigned orders (or all if “technicians see all” is on). The agent inherits the same rules — enforced on the server.
